I was born in Milan in 1972 and after studying graphic design, I came to photography almost by chance.
After a long stay in Kyoto (Japan) I felt the desire to begin to document the beauties of this city and its surroundings.
Now I like to experiment by applying new approaches with the subject to needs to be photographed.
I am, and always will be fascinated by colours, clean geometries and open spaces, with discreet human presence within them.
Whether I am working on personal or commissioned projects, whereby compromises are sometimes necessary to create a consistent storyline, I always seek for an image that can stand on its own feet, characterised by its own aesthetics and soul.
For me this is the only thing that counts.
